Tour Description

The first stop will be the Acropolis of Athens with the Parthenon, Propylaia, the Erechtheion, Temple of Athena Nike, Theatre of Dionysus, Odeon of Herodes Atticus and many other buildings from Periclean building program 480-431 BC.

Our next visit will be the temple of Olympian Zeus and Panathenaic Stadium, a unique monument, and an ancient stadium in the heart of Athens.

Then we will head to Lyccabetus Hill from where you will enjoy a panoramic view of Athens, Piraeus, and the open sea.

The next stop will be the Hellenic Parliament and the monument of the Unknown Soldier, where you will see the ritual of the changing of the presidential guards (Evzones).

Afterwards, our next stop will be the Athenian Trilogy: University, Academy and Library.

After lunch you will visit the Acropolis Museum or Ancient Agora.

Your English-speaking driver will explain and inform you about the ancient monuments that you are about to visit, the ancient history of Greece and interesting facts about historical and modern-day Greece, but we are not allowed by law to escort you into the sites.
