We will pick you up from your hotel to guide you to Akrotiri, a settlement on Santorini that was covered in ash about 1500 BC.
Follow your official licensed guide through the city to discover how it was built during your trip. Learn about the circumstances which buried the city following a volcanic explosion and how this led to its preservation.

As you go past private homes and public buildings, look for traces of a sophisticated infrastructure to learn about how people lived 4,000 years ago.

You’ll also get to see some of the iconic artwork from the time, including as pottery, furniture, and frescoes, as well as learn about the other works on display at a nearby museum.
